Condolences to the late great politician, his family and his party Shan Nationalities League for Democracy (SNLD). Khun Htun Oo was – and will always remain – an immense inspiration. He will be remembered for his role and his leadership of nearly three decades, all along the fight for ethnic natonalities’ rights to self-determination and democracy.

ကွယ်​လွန်​သူ နိုင်​ငံ​ရေးသမားကြီး ဦးခွန်​ထွန်းဦး၊ ၎င်း၏မိသားစု နှင့် ရှမ်းတိုင်းရင်းသားများဒီမိုကရေစီအဖွဲ့ချုပ် (SNLD) တို့ထံ ဝမ်းနည်း​ကြောင်းစကား ပို့သအပ်​ပါသည်​။

ဦးခွန်​ထွန်းဦးသည်​ ​လေးစားအားကျစရာ ဧရာမ တွန်းအားကြီး တစ်​ရပ်​ဖြစ်​​နေခဲ့သလို ​နောင်​လည်း အမြဲတမ်းဖြစ်​​နေဦးမည်​သာ ဖြစ်​ပါသည်​။

ဌာ​နေအမျိုးသားအစုအ​ဝေးတို့၏ ကိုယ့်ကံကြမ္မာကိုယ်​​ ဖန်​တီးပိုင်​ခွင့် နှင့် ဒီမိုက​ရေစီအ​ရေးတို့အတွက်​ ပြီးခဲ့သည့် အနှစ်​သုံးဆယ်​ဝန်းကျင်​တွင်​ ဦးခွန်​ထွန်းဦးပါဝင်​ခဲ့သည့် အခန်းကဏ္ဍ နှင့် ​ခေါင်း​ဆောင်​မှုတို့အတွက်​ အမှတ်​ရ​နေကြလိမ့်မည်​ ဖြစ်​ပါသည်​။
